The Lumiscope Portable Ultrasonic Nebulizer is designed to deliver physician-prescribed aerosolized medication for inhalation therapy. Its compact and lightweight design makes it convenient for both home use and situations where portability is important.
The ultrasonic nebulizer features a two-valve system designed to improve medication delivery efficiency while helping reduce medication waste. During exhalation, the mouthpiece expiration valve opens to allow exhaled air to escape. During inhalation, the valve closes to help maximize the amount of aerosol available for inhalation.
With an adjustable flow volume and a flow rate of up to 0.7 mL/min, the Lumiscope nebulizer is designed for efficient aerosol delivery. Its 3–4 micron particle size is intended to produce fine aerosol particles suitable for inhalation into the respiratory system.
Quiet operation is another important feature, with a noise level of less than 40 dBA. The unit weighs approximately 7 ounces, making it easy to carry and store.
Safety features include a low-battery indicator and overheat protection. The included accessories provide a convenient starting setup for adult and pediatric respiratory treatments, including masks, medication cups, replacement filters, a mouthpiece, carrying bag, and AC/DC adapter.
